About the Author

Jamie Schaefer-Wilson serves on several juvenile products committees for the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) where she advocates for safer juvenile product standards. She has been the featured speaker for American Baby Magazine for their winter child safety seminars for the past two years. Jamie is currently a consultant in Juvenile Product Testing and Safety for Consumer Reports. Jamie works with the non-profit KIDS AND CARS and is a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician. She is also author of "The Baby Rules: The Insider's Guide to Raising Your Parents," and has been featured in newspapers and magazines including American Baby, Pregnancy, Consumer Digest, Woman’s World, Working Mother and Parent Guide.
